Damas Company Pvt Ltd started more than 35 years ago as a construction business and is now a leading Male-based conglomerate company servicing a broad base of customers across different industries catering to their needs and demands and an expanding vast of consumers and corporate customers across the Maldives.

History:
1970s : The Companys origin lies in the construction business that Mr. Mohamed Salih, the Chairman of the Company, set up in Male in 1978.
1980s: Mr. Mohamed Salih and his business partners formed Dimms Pvt. Ltd in 1983.
1990s: It was a period of intensive investments and creating new avenues. A modern approach was introduced, paving the way for the launch of new leading products and services.
2000s: Partners of Dimms decided to dissolve the company and split its businesses. Damas Company Pvt Ltd came into being in the same year.
